Postpartum Care

  • 1 in-home consultation to learn about your needs, and become familiar with your home, fill out a postpartum plan and meet family members.

  • Meal prep (based on groceries available on site)
  • Grocery or errand shopping (hourly fee)
  • Newborn care and instruction
  • Lactation support
  • Birth processing

I currently only offer night care with a minimum of 8 hours and 2 days

Night rate hours between 6pm-8am Ideal shift 9pm-5am or 10pm-6am

Travel fee $.70 per mile each direction for any care within Sonoma County where driving exceeds 30 minutes each way from Sebastopol California. Travel fee in any County outside of Sonoma County is an additional $25 each way. If crossing bridge, bridge tolls paid by client.

Rate $60 per hour within Sonoma County. All other areas hourly rate is $65. Additional $10 per hour for twins

Holidays $75 per hour (New Year’s Eve, New Year, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas) These are PAID holidays if normally scheduled day. I DO NOT work the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve off.

Guaranteed awake nighttime care also available at hourly rate of $75 (not to exceed 8 hours)

Kaiser Insurance
BIRTH Kaiser covers all of my birth care doula services and immediate postpartum support plus 1 extended visit. You will also have <0> out of pocket depending on your plan. A signed contract is required for commitment as I block your due date and don’t overbook to give you the best possible care. I also, handle all of the paperwork so you can be stress free while on this journey.

POSTPARTUM Kaiser DOES NOT COVER extended day or night time postpartum support. That being said, if you choose to use your coverage for postpartum support. Birth without prenatal visits is covered and the MAX ALLOWANCE IS 15.5 hours allocated if using benefits for postpartum care only.

CARROT Insurance
Depending on your allotment CARROT covers both Birth and Postpartum care so check with them to find out exact monetary reimbursement. I will need to fill out an assertion form that they will send me directly for approval.

Non-refundable retainer fee of 1 week’s care due at signing for all clients except those using the 15.5 hours allocated with Kaiser insurance. This fee will be applied to last week of care per the contract.
